The Children’s Services Department has an opening for a creative, customer service-oriented individual who enjoys children and books. Responsibilities include providing reference and readers’ advisory service on the children’s services desk and assisting children with use of the computers.

BA or equivalent education. Graduate students in Library Science preferred. Relevant experience working with children and familiarity with children’s literature desired.

Approximately 14 hours per week. Afternoon, evening and weekend hours. Potential for more hours over the summer. Salary is $12.75 per hour.
